Why Your Business Needs an Online Reputation Management Company

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

It is great for businesses around the world, especially smaller ones that they can reach out to a huge target market at the fraction of an advertising cost through internet. Earlier traditional marketing methods restricted your scope of operation to small geographical areas but not anymore. Today, your website, blog, social media pages etc. can be accessed by anyone anywhere in the world. This gives you a great reach but is a double-edged sword too. A positive interaction can boost your business, but any negative content about you can adversely affect your business. A good online reputation management company can help you manage your business's reputation.

Some crucial steps to build a bond with your customer:

• Invest in a company blog or forum, preferably linked to your business's website. This will enable your customer to directly reach out to you with their adverse opinions or experiences instead of airing them on other forums where they are much more difficult to tackle. This helps you to improve your relationship and also directly engage with your customer minimizing the damage of a negative opinion.

• Have your social media pages managed professionally. Make sure that they are updated on a regular basis, and all consumers who post on your wall or email you are promptly replied to. Any grievances must also be addressed effectively.

• Have a good website that is updated and interactive

Now scout for a good online reputation management company. Look for the track record and the experience in handling these issues. They should be able to not only address any issues with any negative or deliberate and slanderous opinions but also be able to continuously monitor your online reputation to watch its health. Most such companies utilize SEO initiatives to ensure that positive opinions stay at the top of mind for any consumer that searches for your business, products or brands. Needless to say that such companies must have experts on board and should also be cost effective for you.

Remember to have a proactive approach about online reputation management. Do not wait for something adverse to appear about your business before hiring an online reputation management company. It would be better to engage in a professional agency that can continuously monitor your online reputation today. You can then rest in peace that your company's clean and good image that has required years of painstaking work does not get sullied easily. Hire a good online reputation management company today!

How to Close More Deals With Custom Bottles of Water for Car Dealers

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Even the hard sales pitch of your top gun, veteran car sales pros only goes so far. People are tired of being sold and hearing the same old tricks and anything you can do to raise excitement, encourage impulse buying and dig into the subconscious can help sell more cars.

This is where custom bottles of water can really help.

Most car dealers run special events on the weekends, spend a ton on radio ads, balloons, DJs and on giving away hot dogs and while they may advertise big discounts there is a lot more custom bottles of water can do to spike sales both immediately and over the following few days.

With increasingly intricate design options available for those creating their own private labeled custom bottles of water promo codes, QR codes and links to social media sites can be used to offer additional incentives to consumers and close the deal. After all, you arrive at a dealer after hearing the radio pitch or seeing the balloons and figure it is worth a free hot dog to swing in but if everyone is being offered the same deal it doesn't really seem like much of a 'have to have' or 'can't miss' deal. Using these links to lotteries or giveaways can offer additional more unique and exciting incentives which can make that final push, without the cheesy pitch.

In fact every stage of the sales process for car dealers can benefit from having a few ice cold bottles of water handy. While you may not want people to be crystal clear in their thinking and believe wearing them down is the better way to go, when people get hot and tired they are more likely to be less receptive or patient. This is especially true of the painful, annoyingly long time it takes to get approved for financing and get a car out the door. Don't lose them. Keep them hydrated.

However, even before this stage there are many who probably come in for test drives and refuse to make a decision on the spot no matter what. They don't want to be pressured and have already made up their minds not to make a spur of the moment decision. Now, while drinking and driving is normally a no, no, this is one exception. Get your custom bottles of water into the hands of all these prospects and in their cars. Then later tonight or when it is hot tomorrow afternoon and their AC is out or they get passed by someone going faster and they look down and see your brand they are going to be extra inspired to jump into one of your vehicles - a level of urgency and passion your best sales guys probably can't instill.

Plus, this gives the opportunity for positive conversations to be started about your dealership and cars when someone else rides with them or they take them into their offices. Finally, don't forget your service department. You may have sold them one car but every touch is an opportunity to upgrade them and get referrals. If your service stinks it taints your whole brand. Hydrate them with cool custom bottles of water and provide them in loaner vehicles.

When you need a quick, effective way to promote your brand to the market, a simple way to do so is to produce your own range of promotional lanyards. They are considered to be one of the best marketing tools and come at very reasonable prices - something that is essential in today's economic climate.

Lanyards are very common in offices, warehouses, schools, trade fairs, conventions and many more places. They provide the wearer with a form of identification for security reasons or simply to hold items such as flash drives, keys, phones etc. Often, these lanyards are custom printed with the company's brand logo or colours and what better way to get your brand seen than with items that are seen and used everyday?

When considering which type of promotional lanyard to produce, there are many different styles to choose from. The most popular ones include flat polyester or nylon lanyards, which offer high quality at an affordable price. Flat weave lanyards also make the printing options available much wider with plenty of room for your name, contact information, logo and slogan to be included in the design, often many times over.

Assuming you want to be consistent with your branding, many companies offer pantone colour matching options. This would look best on dye sublimination lanyards, which uses heat to transfer your print onto the lanyard. The result is a stunning effect and would stand out from other standard print lanyards. You brand will be visible and advertised wherever the wearer goes, therefore maximising exposure.

Once you have created your promotional lanyards, they can be distributed at trade exhibitions and conferences to clients and customers. These kind of events are also perfect to network with people who may be interested in buying your company's products and services. By providing them with a free lanyard, it reminds them of your brand so you will be the first name they think of when they need a product. To really make a positive impact, you should create personalised I.D cards attached to each lanyard with client's names and they will be sure to keep it after your event.

Whichever style you choose, your promotional and printed lanyards will help to enhance your brand and create awareness among a wide marketing audience. You wouldn't have to worry about them getting worn out because they are highly durable and if given occasional laundering, they will last for years. After considering the many benefits promotional lanyards offer, why not consider investing in them to see what difference they can make to your business?

Understanding The Role Of Packaging In The Food Industry

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

For businesses involved in the manufacturing and retail of food products, the packaging is more than just a pretty container to attract the attention of buyers. It is a vital part of the product and as such, it could make or break any product launch. Unfortunately, this fact is lost on many retailers and manufacturers. The result: domestic food and beverage recalls have tripled since 1999. That is a staggering fact that should make any food-related business think more of their product's packaging.

It is not a secret that the packaging of food and beverage greatly influences the experience of consumers with your product. For instance, does it take plenty of struggling for the consumer just to get to the product? One might think that it could be a minor hassle for consumers but this little inconvenience could turn them off from your product. It is therefore important that you understand the role of packaging in the food industry.

First of all, it's most important job is to protect the product. You want your product to reach your clientele in one piece. This means that the container should stand the common stresses the package is subjected to during handling and transport of the products from the point of production to retail shelves.

Aside from protecting the product, it is important that food containers be safe. This means that it should be designed to avoid product recalls due to contamination and other health hazards. The materials used for the container should therefore be safe. Rigorous testing should be done to make sure that it would not contaminate or jeopardize the safety of the products for human consumption.

Another thing that a product container should achieve is to keep products fresh. Some food products are meant to be consumed in their freshest state. The package should keep products' appearance in the best possible way. The quality of the food product should also be maintained.

The fourth role is for branding purposes. The packaging should be designed with a concrete plan behind it. This means that you should have clear identity for your brand that you want to project. Would you go for convenience? What about appeal? The things is, no matter what you choose, you have to make sure that the packaging should be true to all its other roles.

The food industry is a competitive one especially today when products meant to be consumed on the go are becoming very popular and any business should make it a priority to maximize the branding potential of product packaging.

Branding and Logoed Items for Truck Washing Companies - Case Study

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

The craft of branding is as wide as the longest spanning bridge, and yet, most people never even consider the importance branding a small business. Nevertheless, it is paramount to success. Sometimes it is the simple things which can make all the difference, let me explain - I'd like to use the untypical example of a truck wash for this case study if I might.

Okay so, what on earth could a truck stop do to ensure proper branding? Well, why not start using simple techniques? Why not introduce some branded products? Things like; Mud Flaps for truck or Caps and T-Shirts or even wind-breakers for the drivers? Coffee Mugs and Super Gulp Cups aren't expensive, but you can sure get a lot of mileage out of those too (pun intended).

Using great advertising and marketing techniques and logoed products that you can give away, or sell for a very low price, will help with brand identity. You only really want to break even, unless you have a really strong brand, then you might find that your customers are willing to pay more, in which case, it then becomes an additional profit center.

Mud flaps are one excellent thing to sell at a truck wash because if someone has a broken mud flap they will get pulled over at the scales, as it is a safety item. If you put the mud flap on for free if they pay for it, you can also have your own advertising on the back, and therefore while the truck drives down the road, other truck drivers will see it, therefore it is continuously advertising wherever that truck goes.

Since truck drivers often live in their cabs, and sometimes go without showers while traveling across the country, they often wear caps to hide their messed up hair. If you sell logoed caps, every time they stop for fuel or go into to a truck stop, all the other truck drivers will see your logo and advertising. The same thing goes for t-shirts, and if you do sell t-shirts, you should sell them in various colors which might match the different trucks which come in. Many owner operators wish to wear the same colors which correspond with their trucks color scheme.

Most truck stops offer free coffee, or very low cost coffee, and therefore if you sell coffee mugs with your logos on them, people will see them while they're in the break room at the truck stop, or getting fuel at the fuel islands. Also, there are a number of truck drivers, especially the younger generation who drink soda pop all day, and go into places like 711, or the truck stop to use the fountain drink, filling up their cup of 36, 48, or 72 ounce cups with special non-spill lid. If you have giant cups like this with your truck wash logo on it and the name of your city, you will get free advertising along the route. Please consider all this and go for it.

Guidelines Of A Logo Design

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

There are lot of aspects of a business or company that are of great importance. Without these fundamentals the business is partial and cannot be anticipated to move forward and succeed in the market among its competitors.

One of these basics is the custom logo design. If you are reading this article then the probability is that you already know of the logo design and what it can do for the success of your organization.

The cheap logo design of your business is important since it is solely responsible for building your brand identity or image. It is also a marketing tool without which your products will not get any kind of respect in the market. These days the extent of logo has increased because of the simple fact that there is a much upper competition than before. These days it is not just about quality of your products but also about how much you put into the marketing of those products. If you want a good custom logo design then you need to remember to hire a design service. But as the owner of the company you also need to know some of the best things that go into the logo design process.

Guideline # 1:

The fair rule of the logo design is that it has to be precise. If you have a custom logo that is complex and complicated then you can never be recognized in the market because your customers and target audience will never be able to understand the message that you are trying to get through to them. This is why you need to focus on observing the custom logo design as simple as possible.

Guideline # 2:

The custom logo that you are designing needs to be readable. Majority of the designs these days make use of the text in their logo, but a lot of them make the mistake of using fonts that are unreadable to the common eye. You should use text in the logo but you should also choose the font with concern. Remember not to go overboard in trying to be trendy and different.

Guideline # 3:

When we are discussing about the design, it is vital that we also talk about its colors. Colors are something which makes up a lot of the logo and this is the reason why you need to focus on a few things when deciding. Use colors accordingly to the products that you sell and also according to your industry and its norms.

There are lot of other things that require to be consider while designing a logo but these three are the ones which are most important.

Understanding Flyer Printing

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Flyers also referred to as hand bills are single page flyers which are used in marketing and advertising in regards to a product, occasion, services or business. Cheap flyers are used by various businesses to make routine or special announcements and they are handed out to people walking on streets. They're also pasted on bulletin boards present in college grounds, neighborhood spots, malls and various other sites that draw in crowds. Flyers are handed out widely during events too such as concerts, sports games, etc. Flyers can be an inexpensive mode of marketing in comparison with newspaper adverts or other sorts of media channels.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind which would help you immensely in the creation of flyer prints, so as to help them adapt to the marketing scene quickly.

1. The template -Most layouts for flyer or flyer printing are really quite simple, ordinary and in the end dull. That is the reason why for your flyers, the main element to update in the color printing process is to utilize a new template. Rather than using the conventional rectangle-shaped form, in addition to a regular size, you should make use of an alternative format that isn't widely used by people today. Doing this presents you a major edge in marketing as your flyer turns into completely noticeable flyer with its new style and appearance.

2. Promotional viewpoint -When it comes to the strategy driving these flyers, you would like to revise the precise advertising angle or marketing proposition that you are employing. Whilst you may currently have a pretty efficient advertising concept, this does not mean that it will work equally well next season.

It is much better to once more analyze your markets, and if feasible try to recompose a fresh idea and direction that will possibly stay in the minds of people for a long time.

3. The Heading -In terms of precise content material, one of the crucial attributes which you will certainly want to update prior to employing flyer printing services are your flyer headlines. Everybody is going to obviously read the subject of your flyers first, and in case they notice the typical advertising spiels and slogans there, they won't be eager to go through the rest of your pamphlets. That is the reason why it's essential for you to bring up to date the subject and make certain that it offers something fresh and innovative that several viewers will be engaged in.

4. Artwork -It will certainly be vital for you to furthermore upgrade the visuals that are found in your color flyers. Using the design styles that have already been used is advised against since they will definitely bring a sense of déjà vu and detract your credibility.

It'd also be great to enrich the designs to make them extra stylish, following the common trends in digital design graphics nowadays. With fresh looking visuals, your flyers would be more attractive to people, help them to be picked out a whole lot more effortlessly.

5. Prominent colors -As a final point, you will certainly want to alter the principal shades in your flyers to something which is highly appealing. Initially, try to request the flyer printing providers if they provide flyers with a distinct colored paper. Apart from that, you may want to modify some elements of your flyer color scheme to generate a more powerful, vibrant and of course a very captivating look. Your intention is to get a flyer which continues to have your distinctive style, but is fully new and much better looking for a refreshing new advertising campaign. So play with it a little and test out more diverse colors.

Today, the business logos are not the only used as a trademark or representative of the company, but also for promotional factor for the company.

There are plenty of essential factors, which make your logo an appealing and innovative but, these are the most pivotal elements in the construction of a great logo.

Clean and conspicuous:

The first thing is that, your logo should be clean and clear. Although abstract is good in art, but for the logo the best way to go, is conspicuous and straightforward. The audience should be able to understand, what the logo is trying to depict. If your logo design is not cleanly and clearly, conveying the message to the viewer then, it will be harmful for your professional image. This will help you to make your business tremendous in your audience, and business brand will look incredibly professional.

Scalability:

One major and most important element to pay particular attention to when designing a logo is scalability. You can be as creative as you want to be in your construction, but if it does not scale well, it is over and you can never make a good brand image. A good logo should not only pass the color and clarity. Its size should also be just right. Be sure to choose a right and standard size that is neither too small nor too big, wherein the public can clearly visualize and retain.

A Sign of Trust:

A logo design needs to be unique, clear and appealing, because it is the sign of trust, which helps to bring back your clients gain and again. Logo Design is the most important part of your business no matter how much you grow you will not be able to change your logo. That is the reason people prefer professional, trustful and eye-catching Logo designs for the promotion of services. We should keep a thing in mind, "Few delights can equal the presence of one whom we trust utterly".

To acquire the best Logo Design reflective of your business it is essential to get a well-known company that creates Business Logo design just the way you want it!

New Promotional Ideas to Move Your Clients to Brand Insistence

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

People love receiving gifts, no matter how small they are in monetary value. This is where companies can utilize the opportunity to connect with Giveaway promotional items imprinted with a company logo, contact details, or message create the awareness for the advertiser. But companies looking to take it to the next level should go for giveaway promotional products that actually pack a punch, that recipients would retain, that have a high functionality, and have a high recall value.

What this means, is that businesses could choose to go with branded giveaway promotional items instead of non-branded ones, or just better quality ones. So when ordering online promotional pens, companies should actually go for something a bit more classy like an executive pen or branded pens like Bic pens in place of non-branded ones. Such online promotional pens would more likely be retained by their users and not discarded or forgotten and so the company brand would be more easily recalled. People would cherish a company that gives away valuable gift items and thus they would prefer them over and above others that provide the same product or service.

Another strategy is to utilize business gifts that are unusual like pet promotional items. Sound funny? It might sound so, but actually businesses have been giving away office items for so long that they now want to do something new. Unusual gifts, and especially ones that connect with the emotions of recipients, just grab that much user attention and make a lasting impression with customers and clients. The quirkiness proves to be quite liked and they love to come back to the company that gifted such promos. This is what brand insistence is about.

Advertising campaigns no longer rely upon just putting up hoardings, or ads on television and print media. It is all about making your brand an inevitable part of the lives of your target audience, getting into their minds, their habits, their lifestyles. This is all to set their minds to the default setting of your brand, i.e., when they need a product or service your brand should be what comes to their minds first.

Branding is now all about insistence and does not stop at brand awareness; though awareness is the key and foundation of the process. It is the first step. This is where businesses must make sure that their customers or their market is aware of their brand. From there the journey to insistence begins.

Companies now look to save their marketing dollars and are increasingly turning to other means of advertising other than the regular ones of television, radio, or print media. It's no secret that advertising on these platforms has a short life span and with it the memory of the brand that is advertising! This is why more and more companies are now turning to giveaway promotional products to do their advertising.

Why Marketing Should Manage Your Domain Name Portfolio

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Who manages the domain names in your company? It always strikes me how random it is, who has been given the task. It is historically a function which is not part of any job description. Through my experience of helping companies for the last 10 years I'm 100% convinced that the ones to manage domain names should be the Marketing dept. In many companies this task has been delegated either to IT or Legal. While these teams are professional and experienced they do face the challenge of understanding the brand as fully as the Marketing dept. Over the years domain portfolios have grown in volume from the first domains to hundreds or thousands. This growth has made the portfolio expensive to manage, but at the same time has added value to the company. It is therefore time for companies, which have registered domains "as it comes" since the start of the millennium to restructure domain name management.

The Legal department secures the company's intellectual property, and it is therefore tempting to also let them handle domain names, however they will not have the full picture of the brand. A brand is much more than the trademark. It's the slogan, appearance, campaign name, unregistered brand names etc. The focus of the Legal department is to protect the brand, and the domain portfolio will therefore be based mostly on defensive registrations. Trademarks are not necessarily the names known by the public, and you can therefore miss out on the domain names, which actively can boost your business.

The IT dept. set up the first domain name on the servers, and suddenly they find themselves in charge of the total domain portfolio. While surely possessing the technical knowledge, they do not understand the brand as well as Marketing, and will not know fully which domain names to register.

First and foremost Marketing knows the audience and they know the nature of their brands. Additionally they are the ones in charge of any Marketing campaign and they measure the traffic to the website. They should have the knowledge to ensure that the right mix of domain names are registered, and to check that they drive traffic to the site.

In 2013 more than 200 new top level domains will see the light of day, so be ready to expand your domain portfolio. In the meantime make sure that Marketing takes over the domain portfolio, and ensure that they gain sufficient knowledge about which domain names are important. Otherwise you could face a big mess of legal battles with typosquatters and increasing domain budgets, if you have to register domain names blindfolded.

Defining YOUR Personal Brand Image

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Branding, creating, and maintaining your personal image can be a powerful tool in helping you become the type of professional that you want to be. But, why would someone want to brand themselves? Think about this in the way that you would think about how to market any product. If you were to market a new car you may talk about the cars features, such as gas mileage or how safe it is. You would also figure out who you are trying to market this car to. For instance, you would not want to market a two-door sports car to large family of six. Finally, when marketing a car, you will want to tell clients about the promises and guarantees that will separate this car from others like it. The style of marketing your personal brand is very similar.

You must market yourself by highlighting your individual features and emphasizing them to your potential managers and employers. You must know who in particular you are trying to target with your brand. And finally, what your individual brand message is and what you promise to accomplish in your occupation. By marketing yourself as a unique individual, knowing your target audience, and creating and maintaining your personal brand message and promise, you can develop a strong professional brand image. It is important to know who you are and what your existing personal brand is in order to further develop your image. Particularly, what makes you, you. By staying true to yourself first, you can begin to move your brand forward. Think about your personal beliefs and what type of person you are. These are the things that make you, you. Do not try to change who you are in order to develop an image. If you change and adapt who you are to create an image, you are not creating a personal brand image, but rather a generic brand image that will not allow you to emphasize what you offer specifically and on an individual level. Rather, you must grow your brand image from what you already possess. Focus on what makes you who you are and develop a professional brand image based on these existing attributes.

Once you have defined this personal existing brand, you can begin to address how you can make your brand different, set yourself apart, and grow your own unique brand image. For instance, what do you offer as a professional, and what can you bring to others? What are the skills that you possess that set you apart from the competition? These are the things that will make you stand out from others around you and positively grow your personal brand image. A positive attitude and confidence in your abilities and what you know you are capable of achieving are the first steps to developing your own unique and specific personal brand. Along with your individual attributes, it is important to develop skills that will help to set you apart from others around you. Focus on what you will do to go above and beyond the competition. This will help you to create that unique brand image that will take potential clients from possibly needing your services, to them wanting the services and skills that they know you offer. It is also important to focus on strong communication skills with your potential clients. This can be a positive step to boosting your personal brand by creating a strong relationship between yourself and your clientele, and will also help you to maintain this positive relationship.

Your unique personal brand image will set you apart from the competition for resources and help you to grow relationship that will last a lifetime. Finally, when developing your individual brand image, it is key to know what your message will be and what promises you can offer. You must put into place your personal brand values. These values are what services you can bring to your work situation and what you can achieve. Your message must focus on what you specialize in, what attributes in your unique brand image distinguish you from the rest, and your leadership abilities. This brand message will allow your potential clients to see who you are and know what they will receive from you and your work. Clients must also be able to see what your brands' promise is to them. Your brand promise should focus on your commitment to service, what you can achieve for the potential customer, and finally, your individual reputation. It is also important to communicate to clients that you may not be perfect. Be honest with them. If mistakes have been made in the past, use these as a promise to clients that the mistake has been addressed, learned from, and will not happen in the future.

By creating your individual brand image, you are taking the most important step to success. Look at who you are as an individual, focus on what your unique abilities are, separate yourself from the competition around you, and maintain your brand through a commitment to service. Through these steps you can create and maintain a strong brand image that can lead to future benefits and success in your career.

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

If you think that a well-designed logo is not essential for your businesses, then I would like to suggest thinking again. It is necessary for you to pay attention at the design of your business logo. It should be aesthetically appealing and easily memorable, this is the reason, and most people prefer to hire certified and professional designers, rather than attempt to design their business logo. You must be remembered that, "Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten".

There are a lot of thing, which makes your logo appealing and conspicuous but, the most important are, we should keep few things in mind, before design a logo. Why do people prefer appealing logo design?

Why an appealing logo is essential?
Most people are not graphic designers and are not experienced in how to catch people's attention via your logo design. A good graphic design company will know how to create a representation that is tremendous and effective to become famous in your market place or in your audience. If you really want to become a successful and well-known provider then you should try to make outstanding your graphic representation. You must remember that, an appealing and attractive designed logo represents a good established business. It means a logo will help create a professional image. It will not let your business look contemptible or unreliable.

What makes your logo conspicuous?
There is a said "Good design is good business". The most important thing is colors that you use in your logo; I would like to suggest you to use corporate and reliable colors like Blue, Green, Yellow, ark Red etc, which helps to make your logo trustful and eye-catching. I think Blue color is the sign of trust. Secondly, your logo font and size should be perfect, if you want to design a corporate logo, then avid to use childish and unreliable fonts, which helps you to create a professional look. An example of a well-designed logo for the fast food industry is that they spotlight more on brighter Blues, Reds, Yellows and Greens.

It should be Innovative:
A unique logo design gives you an individual identification in your audience, and they can easily remember you. These days an innovative and unique logo concept plays very crucial role in building a successful business. In other words, you can easily enhance visual image of your business. Keeping all these points in mind, you should work on your business logo and design it unique, appealing and conspicuous.

Long Lasting Warning Labels Are Critical for a Business

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

The sole aim of warning labels is to draw one's attention to a critical aspect of a product or service. Needless to say, such labels need to be clearly printed and durable in order for them to last long enough. The overall visibility of a warning label matters the most. While Warning Labels are typically orange, there are other labels such as Caution labels (yellow) and Danger labels (red).

Most responsible manufacturers usually put warning label on their products. The use of such labels is known to have started in the 20th century. For instance, food allergy warnings are often displayed on food products. These small labels go a long way in warning people about the potential hazards of a particular product. For instance, consumer products such as tobacco and alcohol carry warning signs.

In addition to this, food warning labels are absolutely necessary when it comes to alerting consumers about the presence of animal fats, peanuts, fish and other allergens in food products. Other types of warning signs could be a sign that alerts you about 'Wet Paint' or a 'Wet Floor'. If the absence of such labels causes an accident, those injured have the right to sue the party at fault. Even electronic items carry warning or caution signs regarding electric shock hazards that need to be prominently displayed.

So if you are a business, it is important that you have access to appropriate warning labels. You first need to locate a reputable label printing company who can print labels for you in a short turnaround time. The other important aspect is that such labels should be printed on high quality materials, whether it is plastic or paper. This is to ensure that the label lasts really long and sticks well to the product in question.

If you are sure about using a large number of labels, it is always advisable to purchase in bulk. This will help you save money. Moreover, always choose a manufacturer who deals with reputed brands-this is a good way to ensure that your deadlines will not be violated. Before you place an order, always discuss shipping details with your chosen manufacturer. It's important that your labels are shipped to your doorstep so that you don't have to invest extra time and money in collecting the labels. Always remember, even if it costs a little extra, always choose high quality scratch proof plastics for your labels. This will ensure that your warning sign stays in optimum condition for a long time.

Warning labels are a must-have for every business. It ensures the safety of your valued customers as well as protects your own reputation. So, team up with a reputable label manufacturing company today and order for a stock of warning labels.

I am researching and writing on different types of custom labels for almost 10 years. Almost all things are labeled around us whether it be products, wine bottles, wedding gifts, cloths etc. So buy today custom labels for different applications that will let you express visually loud and clear. Types Of Retail Packaging To Choose From

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

It is not a secret that the way a product is packaged can make or break a company's marketing campaign. A cleverly designed shopping bag for example can raise brand awareness which is what you need to do build trust in your brand. If you are an entrepreneur, you should therefore make the right choice when it comes to picking the retail packaging for your products.

This means that you should not only look at the advantages of having a cleverly designed product packaging. You should also look at your choices. Below are three types of packaging.

The first type is flexible packaging. This is ideal for irregularly shaped products as the flexible nature of the materials would allow convenience in carrying them from the shop to the consumer's destination. This type includes polybags with zippers or snaps, vinyl bags, plastic pouches and clam shells, shopping bags, and hanger bags.

Another type that you might find ideal for your products is the structural package. This is a good choice if you need extra protection for your products. For example, a company manufacturing electronic gadgets need to use boxes which would keep the product secured during transpiration. Folding cartons and set up boxes are just some samples of this type of product packaging. Trays, insert cards, envelopes, and blister cards are also samples of structural packaging.

The third type is structural packaging. This offers a secure form of packaging for your product not to mention a discreet one. These are designed to be visually appealing to attract the attention of potential buyers. The sustainable tag also means that these are made from eco-friendly materials. It is an important consideration as industries are now moving in a fast pace to reduce carbon footprint.

With those choices laid out on the table for you to choose from, you would be able to get one step closer to having that ideal container for your products. Apart from choosing the right type, you also have to ensure that the design you would be using is a good fit for your product. It should not only be durable and convenient to use but it should also help you in promoting your brand. This means that your company's logo and brand name should be strategically placed and at the same time it should also contain useful information for your consumers. Of course, it would help you a lot if you have good products to boot.

Danica Green is a firm believer in the importance of choosing the right retail packaging for every business. She currently writes about her thoughts on the subject about shopping bags, retail packaging, gift boxes, and other ways products are presented by businesses to their clientele.

4 Ways to Integrate Brand and Culture

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Integrating brands and culture is about knowing market trends and how to create and recreate our products and services to make sure that they will stick with consumers.

Brand and culture was a focus of a recent #brandchat discussion. Think about how our products and services can help consumers; turn the want into a need. It's not easy but there are ways now to easily get feedback from consumers to help improve business. Creativity and innovation to integrate brand and culture will help your business compete in the tough market. The market is always evolving and consumers jump from one new thing to another, but if we can establish our brand with culture, make it consistent, then consumers will have something they will never forget.

Here are four ways on how integrate brand and culture:

Become an icon - this is not easy but if you dream big, you will set business goals to reach that dream. A product becomes iconic when people start talking about it and spreading it to others. You have to find ways you can create and invest in establishing a culture around your brand. Make sure that everyone in your company lives up to your mission and vision because they represent your brand. If they do a great job in providing customer service, customers will have a memorable experience and will surely come back for more. Same with your products and services, if they feel that you truly live up to your ads, they will have a brand that they can trust and will come back again. In integrating brand and culture, make your employees happy and they will be happy to serve everyone too.

Work on your niche - If you find your brand's niche, work on that. If you work on your brand consistently, people will start talking about it until it becomes a cultural figure. If you can tap into the emotions of your customers, they will not forget it. Take Apple products; they are now the leading makers of cool gadgets. That's right, cool gadgets. And their products are not just physically designed to be cool, they are built to process and make computing really convenient. They have iPods, iPhones and iPads. A lot of critics say that these are just toys, but Apple is proving them wrong because a lot of professionals are taking iPads to Boardrooms, the office, and everywhere else, especially iPhones.

Create something that is culturally influential - one way to make your brand culturally influential is to know what your consumers want. If you can create something that has everything they want in it, and then a few extras, the want becomes a need. Your advertising should be aligned with the quality of your products. Once consumers can trust your brand, they will be loyal and spread the word to others. Take RIM's Blackberry vs. the iPhone. Blackberry started the smartphone craze and everyone doing business has to have one. Blackberry lets you do emails on the go, Internet when you need it, everything to make a businessperson's work easier. Now Apple tapped into that with the iPhone, a touchscreen smartphone. It's not just for business either because there are so many apps you can use, depending on your needs. A lot of people are making the switch because they can do more with an iPhone.

Create a strong branding campaign - this point might mean more money for marketing, but there are tools now that will help you get your brand out. Create a marketing strategy on the Internet, make use of social media sites to attract and interact with your target customers. Through these sites, you can post images, videos, and stories that are related to your brand, something you can use to make an impression. Ford has a blog site that accepts stories from their customers about how a Ford product helped them or inspired them. These stories get published in the site, no marketing whatsoever. But the site gets around and so does the brand.

Let's Talk About Designing Your Very First Inviting Brand

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

After all, this is where all my experience comes from... I started out as a graphic designer, helping very-first-timers design their first business brands.

Along the way, I learned many, many valuable lessons about designing your first brand... so I thought I should share.

Many first-time entrepreneurs consider designing their brand a "first order of business" - they think that before they launch, they've got to design their logo, business cards and their website.

I get it... there's a lot of not-fun stuff to do when you start your business. Setting up accounts. Creating contracts. Dealing with your business entity choice (whether you'll be a corporation, sole proprietor or LLC).

This is important stuff, and at the same time, it's really not the creative adventure you set out to have in your business.

So you avoid it... and try to have some serious fun by commissioning or creating your business designs.

And you're counting that fun towards the cause of "advancing your business."

That's oh-so-wrong. For many reasons.

First of all, it's a stalling tactic that nervous entrepreneurs use to avoid selling their services. Selling freaks them out, so they say, "I just have to have this website put together... then I can start making calls."

That's straight-up crazy... you don't need a website, or a logo, or really any graphics at all. You just have to start having those first conversations with potential clients and start selling and delivering your services.

It may seem that having a logo will make that transition easier, and the truth is... it's more likely to hurt you than to help you.

And reason #2 will show you why that's so important: because a brand is a two-way discussion. You have to design your brand to speak to your ideal clients. To show and tell them what you stand for in your business.

If you haven't had any clients yet, how can you possibly design your brand FOR them?

You've got to create your brand for your clients. They're the ones listening in and watching you. And so your brand has to be meant to communicate with them.

Because they're completely serious about a picture saying 1000 words... and you want to make sure they're saying the right 1000 words to the right people. Right?

Your brand designs should communicate all of that meaning and emotion behind your business.

So, before you design, you not only have to figure out who you're communicating with... but also what you're trying to say.

How to figure that out? Answer these questions:

What is your business all about?

And how do you want your clients to feel when they work with you?

In your brand, you have the opportunity to tell your clients all of that, and even more, about your business.

Your brand is powerful because you can show, not just tell.

A gorgeous brand can do so much more than communicate.

• Gives your invisible, intangible service a face and makes it more real and less abstract.

• Turns heads and opens doors for you. Clients will say, "have you seen this?" and pass your marketing along for you.

• Sticks in peoples' minds, making a memorable, lasting impact.

• Moves your clients from "know" to "like" quickly... and ease the transition into "trust." You'll know this is happening when you hear them say, "wow, I love that! Tell me more..."

• Raises the perceived value of your services, cut back on sales objections and speed up your sales cycle.

So, it's imperative that you put the effort into figuring out what you want your 1000 word-picture to say, and who you want it to say that to. That's the only way you're going to make the gorgeous impression you want to make.

Defining Your Target Market - 5 Keys to Increase Your Sales Success

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Before you jump into Facebook Timeline, check your branding message. Is it tight enough to attract your most profitable and likely buyer? I've got good news and bad news.

The bad news is: more often than not, our branding message is being ignored. This occurs because a target market has not been clearly defined. With the desire to reach as many customers as possible, companies sometimes identify their target market as 'all God's children' and thereby create a branding message that is too general. Remember, people will pay more for an expert or a product specific to their needs.

The good news is: people out there are still purchasing products. Because of the economy clients have become highly selective and are looking for benefits, solutions and results specific to their situation. The very elements that are making sales more difficult are also creating the "perfect storm" for skilled and knowledgeable sales professionals to sail into.

The Target Market

The ability to define your target market significantly impacts your sales success. I have five keys to help you target the types of individuals and businesses where you'll have a high likelihood of sales success. This saves you time and makes the most of your efforts and marketing dollars. You will being this process by answering the questions below.

1. What is the demographic of your target market?

Selling B2B? - Who are their customers? Is your offering industry specific?

Selling B2C? - What age group, income, marital/child status?

Information regarding the demographics of the target market will be your guide for selecting brand colors, page layout, music, style of message and other design elements. For example, when selling to the 20-35 crowd, use strong colors, busy, interactive pages and music in a strong, current style. Selling to boomers requires cleaner pages with fewer distractions, more subdued colors and they don't necessarily need as many details before making a decision. For more information about demographic influencers, read The Buying Brain by Dr. A.K. Pradeep.

2. What problem are they looking to solve? If they are not using your product/service, what challenges are they facing? Put yourself in your clients shoes. List the pain, inconvenience or other discomfort they are experiencing without your product. Whose current situation could be greatly improved by using your product/service? Who has the biggest 'ouch' or desire for your product? What is driving them to your product? Use this information as you craft your branding message. If they are a first time home buyer your statement might be, "We help first time home buyers who are struggling with the mortgage maze.

3. Who would be especially receptive to your offering? Who out there knows they need your product/service? Are they economically stretched and need to re-finance their home?; In need of more income and want quality training to get into the job market?; Have a new baby on the way and looking for nursery furniture? By recognizing individuals who know they have a need, you are better equipped to find and attract them.

4. Who can afford your product? Trillions of advertising dollars are wasted each year as great marketing campaigns are wasted on clients who are simply not in the correct economic demographic.

5. Why you or your product? List all of the benefits, solutions or results your product or service provides and use these in your branding message. It is important to differentiate between features and benefits. Designing A Website - The Elements That Actually Go Into It

Elements of True Web Design

I've often struggled with explaining the difference of design vs. development to clients, friends, family, and generally anyone who isn't a designer or developer. And that's understandable as they are not involved in what I am every single day so I don't expect them to understand. It's the same as me not comprehending all the different aspects of construction...and that it's rare that one single person can do roofing, framing, foundation repair, etc. They're all connected...but OH SO different. So that said, it got me thinking about the different levels and separation just within the field of "design".

Design is...

Well...everything actually. Most people think of it as just being the visual side of things be it a website, print flyer, or email marketing. What they don't realize is the factors that go into a "design". So I'll attempt to explain this quickly AND I'll stick to websites as my example. I'm not saying this a perfect explanation or guide for you to go thinking you're a pro now, but it will help you realize that a "designer", particularly a web designer, is so much more than visual.

The Visual

This is the part you'll see. The "prettiness" or "ugliness" of a website. But even this is more than that simply because every person has their opinion of what is pretty and what is ugly. I can't stand the sight of a hairless cat...but there are people that find them highly attractive. (Disclaimer-I'm assuming those people that own them do think their attractive). So is design really just the visual side of a site if the designer can never please everyone?

The Usability

Ah...now we're getting into something. Usability is design!?! But of course. Real web designers think of all aspects of how a user will interact with the design and we have to pretend we know what they will think when they see a button or an image...will they want to click it? Will they know it's a button to be clicked? Will they totally miss it because of the large amount of content? Oh so many questions that we have to assume we know the answers to. To sum this up though, usability is how a user will "use" the site. Imagine that.

The Tone

Just as with advertising will give you a certain "feeeling" (<-Dave Ramsey plug) about a particular ad or commercial or whatever, the overall design of a site and its elements will give you a feeling...and that will impact your view of the brand and how you use the site. Oh man, now we're starting to make some "design" connections here.

The User Experience

User Experience is often times called UX for short. So when I refer to UX...this is what I mean. UX is all about how the user will actually use the site and what they will get out of it. Yes it's closely related to usability, probably could be considered a child or dependent of usability. What will the user get out of the site? Will they have a good time using your site? Or will they get frustrated that they can't find anything easily and move onto the next listing in Google? UX is very very difficult to master, I have not done it, but I strive to. I don't think anyone will ever "master" UX, we can all only hope to get better at it each day.

User Interface

Likely something you've heard but maybe don't really make the connection to "design" here either. It is the actual design elements such as navigation and where it's laid out. It's the form fields and how they look. It's probably the most visual part of this whole process. It's often used when talking about programs such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs. You can also find UI in all good app design on your iPhone or other smart phone. This ties to design alot actually, but you can think of this as a dependent of usability and sister to UX. UI can be in websites too though...in fact, it better be so it can help to improve the UX and usability of the site...it can also tie directly into the tone. Is this all starting to come together a bit?

Putting It All Together

So to pull it all together for you, I've got to think about all these things when designing. Thus the reason it may take me 50 or 100 hours to build a website. More than half of that is planning and page flow and making sure the user will get the best experience they need and rightfully deserve. There's nothing worse than an ugly site that I can't find anything I need or at least make me feel secure by having some decent visuals. Have you had that experience before? It's not so pleasant is it?

Branding or Problem Solving? What Do Your Customers Care About?

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

What's your definition of success? Do you want to be rich, or do you want to be famous?

Personal promotion is much more expensive and less income producing than finding the needs of your client and meeting those needs. Self-promotion (branding) is difficult, costly and time consuming.

It's much faster to meet someone's needs than to build a brand.

Welcome to the New Marketing.

Today's strategy - tell customers what you can do to solve their problem. Stand out from the competition by filling a need.

McDonalds is not hamburgers, but fast, consistent, clean, inexpensive. Nike is not tennis shoes, but attitude. FedEx is not delivery, but absolutely, positively, dependability. These companies don't focus on their product, but create an experience, fulfill an emotional need. Starbucks doesn't sell coffee, they sell an experience.

First rule? Don't focus on yourself, not at first, anyway. Better to focus on building relationships with potential customers rather than trying to create a brand that everyone recognizes. People are far more interested in themselves than in you. They don't care about your name, your pet, or your logo. Their only interest in you is what you can do for them.

Focus on your clients; their needs, their wants, their desires. This is what will hook them and make them your customer. Determine what you can offer to meet clients' needs and market that.

Here's something to focus on when creating your marketing: Statistics show that, at any given time, 3% of your prospects are currently in the market to buy your product or service and looking right now to get it. Another 6-7% are open to it, but not currently looking. The other 90% are divided into three nearly equal categories: (a) not really thinking about it now (b) think they're not interested - but might be if you did a good job at presenting it to them... and (c) KNOW they're not interested.

How much business are you leaving behind by not peaking the interest of those 30% (b) who might be interested if you did a good job presenting it to them?

Where is your marketing focus?

Read Your Own Marketing. How many times do you say "I" or "we." If you rewrite your marketing to say "I" no more than once, how does that change your message?

Remember, the best marketing is never about you; it is not personal promotion. Don't work to get your prospects to know you - work to get to know them. Then present an offer that motivates them to take action.

26,000 new products and brands are introduced every year. What does your marketing say?

In Names, Tag Lines, and Company Personas - Why Bold Branding Wins

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

Yesterday I read an article about initiatives on the part of some airlines to facilitate passengers sitting next to someone they'd find interesting, while other airlines are making it easier to increase the odds of having a quiet flight by having no one sit in the next seat.

Most people probably have a preference on this. Either they would like to talk to someone interesting on a long flight or would prefer to zone out in solitude. The feelings of those who don't care one way or the other undoubtedly have a lower intensity than the feelings of those who like or hate one of these options.

Indifference isn't motivating. Attraction and repulsion are.

And that's why blandness and similarity to competitors have such little power when it comes to publicity, word of mouth and customer loyalty. By not standing out, by trying to appeal to everyone and their uncle, companies have little or no energy charge. They earn little notice and fade into the background.

Bolder branding works, however, because it doesn't try to please everyone. It aims to please those it has defined as ideal customers. When it's intelligently implemented, those who like the bolder branding really, really like it. Those who dislike it don't count. They aren't a loss because the likers are more likely to stick around, tell their like-minded friends and colleagues about the company and promote the company and what it sells through articles, tweets, blog posts and media coverage.

You can certainly take bold branding too far - for example, by making it offensive in ways that cast shame on the company and its fans. Short of that, however, bold branding aligned with the desired customer base is very smart.

Branding elements include the company name, its tag line and the personality a company takes on, as well as dozens of other items.

Get started on bold branding by becoming clear about who the name or other branding element needs to appeal to, along with whose opinions don't matter at all. Warm up creatively by identifying other companies and advertising campaigns that you see being aimed at the same target population. Also identify their polar opposites - companies and campaigns that would make your target market shudder or turn away.

Then throughout your brainstorming for new ideas, post those desirable and undesirable images on the wall to remind you that you're not trying to please the world at large or yourselves in coming up with ideas. You're trying to reach a certain set of people who have particular knowledge, attitudes, values and preferences. Above all, do not take a vote among the general public on branding elements or let the opinions of random people count in any way. Instead, create a set of criteria you can use to distinguish ideas that match the right profile from those that do not.

If you can keep your eye on the goal, you'll reject boring, me-too branding elements and select bold names, tag lines, personas and more with exactly the right kind of magnetic charge.

Understanding Importance of Business Card Printing

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

A business card is a crucial part of any company or personalized marketing strategy. Obviously, you can't count on a business card to express the whole tale about yourself or your organization. Nevertheless, the real intent behind a business card is to offer a professional impression or perception to ensure that folks will keep in mind "who you are" after they meet you.

It is evident that these cards could make or break a client's initial opinion of you and your company. In fact, chances are that this tiny card makes as much of an impact as your visual appearance, the clothes you don or the cell phone model which you carry!

So what are business cards?

Business cards are cards displaying business details about a company or a particular person. They are shared during formal introductions for a convenience and for recollection purposes later. This card usually consists of the person's name, business association (often with a company logo) and contact details such as addresses, contact number(s), e-mail addresses and website.

These cards are nowadays a downright prerequisite, for considerably more than just a 'calling card', the business card is the socially acknowledged way of presenting yourself politely to a new or potential customer. It's an expression of yourself, your business and as a reminder; since it performs a huge role long after you have met the person.

If you don't have business cards or have run out of them, there is really only one thing you could do - place in an order for business card printing right away. So what features lead to a well-designed business card? Prior to spending on card printing, it's good to take stock first and find out if you really know everything about printing business cards.

While you might have gone through several design ideas and in all likelihood browsed through a wide range of templates, there's more to it than simply that. There are little facts no one will probably tell you outright.

Here you five important things you should know.

1.You are your business card- After looking through many designs on the market, you may get somewhat confused in regards to what style to make use of. With a myriad of fascinating choices available, choosing the most appropriate one for yourself may appear hard. The true secret in selecting is to be yourself.

You are your business card. So pick the one which signifies you. Don't pay attention to those ads that want you to put money into costly designed cards that don't really characterize you. So long as you go with a design that embodies your professional image as well as your company's image, you've got your design.

2. Quality isn't always the final and crucial aspect- Don't fall for the idea that high-priced and good quality materials are invariably the top dogs in the business. There isn't any truth to it. People don't just assess cards by its quality. They appraise them because of the design, and by the details included within. As a result, you don't have to invest more than what is required. As long as the look is great and the printing is something that suits your budget, you are performing effectively.

3.You can be imaginative- It's also wise to be aware that you could be creative. You don't have to be restricted to layouts and corporate styles. These days, the wilder and more unforgettable cards are catching up with people's minds. So let your imagination take over and be innovative with your cards.

4.Upgrading is essential - It might also be useful for you to learn that updating is a vital. Don't simply use the same card every year. Change your designs annually so as to update your details and improve your style to something fresher. This keeps you extra competitive with superior looking contemporary cards while at the same moment keeping your contacts up-to-date with all your updated contact info.

5.Always have one significant selling element- Lastly, all business cards should have one big marketing variable. This may be a unique symbol, an appealing motto, distinctive metallic inks, special paper elements or other memorable attributes. As long as there's something unconventional and authentic, people will recall it and you will be remembered as well. You'll promote yourself much better this way.

Is Your Brand Positively Negative?

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

If you've blogged or spent any time on Facebook, you've encountered people who will give a "positively negative" comment, comments that may to sound positive but end up sounding negative because of a word or phrase that they add in it. It affects those who post afterwards, like your comment or comment after a "positively negative" comment. Your connections can even show signs that they've been "worn down" by the emotion of that comment. Whether the positively negative person is blind to their negativity or they're trying to be witty or sarcastic, the bad impression is left for all.

What if you are the positively negative person?

How will you know?

Look at a comment before you hit "share" or "send". Does it sound anything like this - "I read through your post and found something of value - finally." Or, "It's the first time I read through your post without getting bored."

Are you the one at a gathering when people say "congratulations" to someone for their promotion and you say "It's about time."?

Are you the bearer of doom and gloom? Are people suddenly quiet or preoccupied when you're speaking in a group? Do you comment on a status update or a post and suddenly a lively conversation turns to you being the last to post?

Not all of these are sure fire signs that you are a positively negative person, yet they can be symptoms. If you suspect you are, it's time to ask a good, trustworthy friend if you are. And then listen to what they say.

How do you handle the positively negative person hanging out on your Facebook page or blog?

Don't judge or assume - if they've only done it this one time. You never know what challenges someone is experiencing and it costs you nothing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Maintain your positive outlook - when you have a positive outlook, negativity won't spoil that for you. Maintaining your positive outlook will rub off on others and will keep a positive focus on your responses to their comments.

Keep your emotions in check -There are times when negative people really use up our patience. When you feel that you are about to reach that, stand back and take a while before giving a response. Ensure that your response does not signal emotional stress; make sure that you still respond with a calm tone.

Remember what you can lose and gain - if you think about this, you will come up with better and appropriate responses to negative people. Keep in mind that when you talk, you are wearing your personal brand. Whatever you say and however you deal with others will reflect on your brand. If you get emotional, you might lose more than that negative person. If you know how to handle that person, you will gain your audience's trust, respect, and loyalty.

Don't discount the comments - reading negative comments may drive us to discount what the message is truly saying. Read comments and look out for points that you may learn from. If you read their comments with the willingness to learn, you will still benefit from such comments.

Accept the reality of negative people - some people see the glass as half empty, other see it as full. That's just life! Accepting will just give you a better hand in dealing with them.

A great question to ask yourself when you do feel compelled to counsel someone who seems to be "positively negative" all the time is to ask yourself this. What matters most to me - being right or keeping the relationship?
